Our Organization
Child & Family Services, Inc. of Lea County is a private, non-profit 501C(3) agency that was founded by Executive Director, Patricia Grovey.  Serving Lea County since 1984, we provide a high quality, comprehensive, child development program through a pro-family system of services and supports that positively impacts the lives of the young children and families we serve.

We provide services to children, birth ?twelve years old, from all socioeconomic backgrounds and cultures, through various funding sources including federal grants, state grants, foundation grants, United Way and private pay child care fees. Our target population is low-income children, birth ?five, who are served through our Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.

We currently serve 440 children and their families, including Pregnant Women, Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School-Age Children (Birth ?12) through a menu of program options. Based on child and family needs, we offer both part-day/part-year preschool services and full-day/full year child care services.  We operate four child development centers and employ a staff of 100.

Our Mission

Our Vision
We envision an organization empowered with highly motivated, competent, and prepared staff, committed to the development of a ready child, of ready families and ready communities, where excellence is cultivated and best practices and quality services prevail.
