Our
Organization Child
& Family Services, Inc. of Lea County is a private, non-profit 501C(3)
agency that was founded by Executive Director, Patricia Grovey.
Serving Lea County since 1984, we provide a high quality, comprehensive, child
development program through a pro-family system of services and supports that
positively impacts the lives of the young children and families we
serve.
We
provide services to children, birth ?twelve years old, from all socioeconomic
backgrounds and cultures, through various funding sources including
federal grants, state grants, foundation grants, United Way and private
pay child care fees. Our target population is low-income children, birth
?five, who are served through our Head Start and Early Head Start
Programs.
We currently serve 440 children and their families, including Pregnant
Women, Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers and School-Age Children (Birth
?12) through a menu of program options. Based on child and family needs, we offer both part-day/part-year
preschool services and full-day/full year child care services. We
operate four child development centers and employ a staff of 100.
